If the devil is walking about seeking whom he may devour, it therefore means the devil is not omnipresence. The only authority that has that attribute is God. The devil does not have the power to devour everybody most especially the born again child of God, he only has power on those that gives him the privilege. But let me sound a note of warning to the believers, the bible says “the devil moves around like a roaring lion”, he is not the real roaring lion, but just mimicking the real lion. We all know that Jesus is the real roaring lion; he is the lion of the tribe of Judah. Revelation 5:5, Hosea 11:10
The devil is moving like the real lion, but his mission is not to bless, to protect, to prosper and to give abundant life like the real lion, his mission is to kill, to steal, to destroy and to devour. JOHN 10:10
We should not be deceived, the devil also has moved into many churches, behaving like the lion of the tribe of Judah, but his aim is to drag many to hell. 2Corinthians 11:14
That is the reason the bible is advising us,
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 1Corinthians 10:12
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. 2 Peter 3:17
