Essien Philip David is an engineer by training, a graduate of the discipleship training programme of the hilltop academy; he also completed a course for the basic leadership certificate at the hilltop leadership institute, and also a course for the basic certificate in leadership at the hilltop ministerial bible college. He is married to Mrs. Susan David Essien and they made their home in Portharcourt Rivers State Nigeria.
